1. Data We Collect
Account data (email, display name, hashed password or OAuth identifier), review content you post, tool submissions, and standard technical data (IP, browser, device, page views). We do not sell your personal data.
2. Authentication & Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. Sessions use signed tokens with rotation and are transmitted only over HTTPS. Two-factor authentication is available for all members and required for staff.
3. Cookies & Analytics
We use first-party cookies for session management, preferences, and analytics. We use privacy-first analytics that do not build cross-site advertising profiles. You can clear cookies at any time; core features require session cookies to work.
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Deleted accounts and reviews are removed within 30 days from primary storage and within 90 days from backups.
5. Third Parties
We use vetted infrastructure providers for hosting, email, and analytics under written data-processing agreements. We do not share your personal data with advertisers or tool vendors listed in the vault.
6. Your Rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. EU/UK users have GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection). California residents have CCPA rights. Contact privacy@aicdirectory.com to exercise them.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We will post changes here with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice.
